李四光（1889年10月26日－1971年4月29日），中國著名地質(zhì)學(xué)家，湖北省黃岡縣回龍山香爐灣人，蒙古族，畢業(yè)于英國伯明翰大學(xué)，獲博士學(xué)位。首創(chuàng)地質(zhì)力學(xué)。中央研究院院士，中國科學(xué)院院士，之后李四光的著名事跡也被翻拍為電影。1932年任中央大學(xué)(49年更名南京大學(xué))代理校長，又任重慶大學(xué)教授。為中國甩掉“貧油”帽子，創(chuàng)立地質(zhì)力學(xué)理論。為中國“兩彈”作出了突出貢獻(xiàn)。
